The typical STARBASE student is in the fifth grade, with our curriculum carefully designed around this grade level.

How many students may attend in a classroom?

A classroom may not be less than 20 students and no more than 35. We can accommodate two classrooms per day.

How many days do students attend STARBASE?

During the school year, students visit for five days, typically spread over five consecutive weeks, from 9:00am to 2:00pm. During the summer academies, students attend over the course of one week, Monday through Friday, from 9:00am to 2:00pm.

Does STARBASE do one-day tours?

While we value the interest, we have not designed our program to accommodate tours.

Does STARBASE have a cafeteria or a place to get food?

No. All participants, including teachers, chaperones, and students, must bring a non-perishable lunch and drink for each visit.

I'm a parent. Can I sign up my child individually?

We offer summer academies for individual child sign-up. Visit our academies page for more details.
